Our dental implant procedure involves a series of steps that require specialized dental surgery skills and expertise. Firstly, we conduct a thorough examination that includes a comprehensive oral check-up, X-ray examination, and CT (Computerised Tomography) scan. This is done to determine the position and angulations to place the titanium implants.
Next, we perform the surgery by raising the gum flap and drilling a hole into the jawbone at the pre-determined position and angulation. Then, we insert the dental implants into the hole and close the gum flap by sutures. We then wait for 3-6 months for the jawbone to unite with the dental implants.
After this period, we perform the second stage surgery, removing a small piece of gum covering the dental implant and inserting a healing component onto the dental implants. This allows the gum to heal in a better shape around the dental implants.
